Slide to 13:20 for some insight from Greg Cosell about how the Chargers' front 7 will attack the Chiefs' revamped OL. Cosell is the best pure football analyst in the business. The Chiefs' left side will have a rookie LT and 2nd year player making his first start at LG. They will use Mack and multiple stunt concepts to challenge that side. If the Chiefs slide over more help to that side, that would isolate Jawaan Taylor on the right side, and they could line up Mack one on one against him.

Right now my only TV is a 32-inch Samsung I bought on clearance from Target in 2012. I have home wifi of course. And I have a 17.3 inch screen laptop, an iPhone, an iPad and an Amazon Firestick in my TV - these are the only 4 things connected to my wifi. I'm not a big TV watcher. I only really us the iPad to read, it's my Kindle. I don't have cable or any TV service. I do have Amazon Prime.

I use an indoor digital antenna to bring in the networks, when a game I want to watch is on one of the local stations I watch it that way. When I want to watch a Chargers game that is not on locally, I stream it through the Reddit streams. I use a VPN and have good virus protection. I stream to my laptop, sometimes I'll just watch the game on my laptop. I can also connect my TV to my laptop via and HDMI cable if I want to watch it on a bigger screen.

I've read on this forum that you can configure Firesticks to stream Reddit streams, but I've never bothered to learn how to do it.
Smart TV’s do not have ads.

The streaming services such as YouTube have the ads. Same as cable stations. Each station has their own ads.

Think of it this way. A Smart TV merely offers the streaming services like channels. Once you connect to them, you can get advertising exactly the same as regular TV.

The advantage of streaming is you can pay for a premium version which is ad free. Like Netflix as an example.

I wonder how many announcers feel like gagging when they show TS on screen.
NFL viewership varies by game, but recent figures show a 2024 regular season average of 17.5 million viewers per game, while the Super Bowl LIX in 2025 averaged 127.7 million viewers.

Taylor Swift has 470 million social media followers.

NFL games exist to a large part because of Television advertising. Television advertisers want more viewers.

They would be idiots not to embrace Taylor Swifts popularity and opportunity to attract more eyeballs for their product.

I don't feel that way. They show her a few times for maybe 5 seconds. Hardly takes away front the game.
          Doesn't bother me.

If you like to watch TV at night, you are doing yourself a disservice by not having an internet connected TV. There is very little TV content that compares to what’s available on streaming. And the picture quality on the new smart TVs is outstanding. Just having Prime and Netflix gives you more content than you can keep up with. And for a few dollars more, you can get them ad free.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
            Let’s win one for Mack.

Here is the PFT Mike Florio-Phil Simms preview. Simms says he doesn't "have the guts" to pick the Chargers over the Chiefs.

Exactly. Also, I watch about an hour or two of YouTube videos a day. Any subject or expert you want to watch is available in easily digestible short segments.

YouTube is actually the fastest growing streaming service in the world even eclipsing Netflix.

Analysts have suggested Netflix will copy YouTube and add their own “user content” videos so they can remain competitive in the hottest area of future growth.

While this is a cool event to be part of , it is giving up a home game against the Chiefs. With the Chiefs big profile it will likley be more of a road game. There was a mob at the airport when the Chiefs landed last night. Chargers landed to no fanfare.

Instead of a so called home game, we will likely be playing 2 road games against them.

Please just let us finally beat these guys tomorrow.

I'm a little confused. Chiefs #1 WR is out. Rookie is playing LT. Rest of their O line is shuffled. Kelce is done. Chris Jones is old.
Their RBs are not what they used to be. Mahomes is fat and out of shape.

In the meantime, we've revamped our skill players. Only our LT is out, otherwise all healthy. Defense personnel is about the same,
                      with some notable DL improvements.

Shouldn't this be a cake walk for the Chargers? Why are the Chiefs 3 point favorites?

He'll need quite a bit of help from the team but I doubt he throws four picks like he did in his last game. The 2025 Chargers are a better team than the '24 version that KC barely beat last year.
Composure and leadership Justin! Let's rock this joint!

The report that Hampton will be the starter doesn't come as a surprise. He was working with the first team offense all training camp while Harris was on NFI list with an eye injury .
Rich Eisen mentioned on his show that Harris does not start.
