I think the realization that the division has become a lot tougher is probably a tough pill to swallow...

There are so many cut ups of this game being reviewed by some experts and some fans who know a lot and some who talk a lot. I was watching one of them the first QJ TD, when tranquill picked his own player off. I relaxed my eyes and watched the line, not the ball. And there it was. As big and beautiful as can be. Our very own Zion Johnson manhandling Chris Jones one on one. He completely neutralized him and Herbert stood there and waited for QJ. We beat Zion up a lot. He looked great on that play.

Yeah, he was good as a pass blocker, which is uncommon for him. Perhaps that move to C for a few weeks during camp helped somewhat. I still believe he can be a very good to elite C if they continue the experiment.

They can’t handle the new reality - you can see in their internal bitching at each other. Gronk talked yesterday about how PHI showed everyone that if you just punch them in the mouth, they can’t handle it. Their fall could be further than it should be due to their lack of maturity at dealing with adversity.

or not , … lol … we’ll see. I do not underestimate Andy or Kermit.

Boze was a bit better too - I did see one play where the DT lined up over the A gap just blew past him in a fraction of a second. It was the only defender to get thru so Herbie was able to handle it because this year, unlike last, he has available weapons to quickly locate and hit.

Right on. If I have one criticism of Herbert, it’s that he himself does not sell the play action super great with his ball handling. But regardless of that nit, it worked. And if Roman, Harbaugh, Day see what I think I saw they will work with him on it. Does not tarnish an absolutely elite game by our QB

It's a what if game so nobody knows, but Mahomes ability to lead game winning drives against us has been painful. Any team playing without 3 of their 4 top WRs will be better when they are on the field.

Last I saw on Chief's planet, they were busily engaged in making a list of all the offenses better than the LA Chargers': Eagles, Buffalo, Baltimore, Detroit, ....
They were competing with each other in inventing the proper comparative adjective in describing how far behind the Chargers O is.
