It’s gonna hurt reaching for the ball with your arm not secured to a socket. A lot. If he plays he’s gonna be in pain and one good shoulder hit is gonna send waves of pain throughout.Justin Herbert 2026 MVP Watch

Yeah I can understand the move to OG if his mobility isn’t what it’s used to be in order to play OT.Originally posted by DerwinBosa View Post
I agree about Alt. I'm not sure what the answer will be with Slater if he fully recovers. Right tackle may be it, but I know there was talk about him moving to guard before his draft. While I realize it's not ideal to have him play guard under his current contract, we can make it work with Alt on his rookie contract, and a rookie right tackle coming in. It will be interesting to see what happens.

*****la injuries are serious regardless. Career ending for a lot of players. With any luck, he can still transition to RT. But I don’t think it’s disrespectful to think that even a move to OG could happen.Originally posted by Fouts2herbert View Post
That's ludicrous, if they start Slater at guard and play a rookie at tackle the whole coaching staff should get fired, talk about a waste of resources and fucking with Herbert's safety...Slater is one of the best OTs in the league, so disrespectful, a lot of the talking heads questioned whether he could play OT in the NFL and he shut the all up, if anyone can come back from this it's Slater, his dedication is elite level, this is not going to rob him of the ability to stay at OT...

Each injury, repair and rehab are one of a kind. There are a lot of possibilities. One of which is that Slater returns good as ever. I'll go with that untilOriginally posted by Xenos View Post

proven otherwise. How the team will chose to use him?? I think he gets his job back at LT.

Yeah....i agree. *****las are hard to come back from but being a OL isnt like coming back from it and playing WR or CB, RB. We'll see but no doubt he will play somewhere on the OL whether it is LT or RT.Originally posted by sonorajim View Post

He put Worthy on IR but I guess that wasn't technically a block.Originally posted by Steve View Post
It's better than pointing out his start TE was trying to blocking long after the whistle, when it was probably the only half way decent block he even tried during the game.

of course he never mentioned his running back throwing a closed fist punch at Henley, nor was he flagged or fined by the NFL both of which happened to Tart...Originally posted by Steve View Post

As we see, the Eagles beat them too. Win a Super Bowl and I will concede, until then it’s all hopes and dreamsOriginally posted by powderblueboy View Post
NYBoltFan had a quiet night last night.
Fuck Mahomes, Chargers were able to control the game last night by not giving many opportunities for NYBoltFan to post on the forum.

Yeah this based on before he was back in practice and before the game obviously. And while he had a knee injury previously, his time with the Jets was tumultuous enough that there were going to be questions about his work ethic. It was something that was also previously brought up before he joined the Eagles.Originally posted by richpjr View Post
There is a huge difference between a guy having to deal with a knee injuries in his career and a guy completely dogging it. Becton had a 103 degree fever and was taking IVs before the game, yet was still out there trying to gut it out.
I hope he continues playing well and proving many of us wrong.
