Welcome to the Hampton ERA. I expect a breakout game for the young fella. This will allow play action and a few shots to Conklin. Keep Kermit on the sidelines and take away Kelce. Let’s Fucking go. Fire up the pellet smoker, ribs and chiefs tonight.

I think this is Year 2 of being on the right path toward a championship, and that will show throughout the season.
Brandon Staley won his first game against the Chiefs in his first season as head coach in 2021. How did that work out? This isn't close to being the most important game we'll play this season.
Chiefs seemed to get better as the season progressed in each of their last two or three seasons.
Staley's team never.
Avoiding injuries helps a lot ... improved Charger depth should keep them fresher late in the year.
Chiefs very, very thin, and have stacked their roster with the old and the injury riddled.
We'll see if they dodge bullets all year.

Pipkins has a lot of experience RT and he's going to get help. Pipkins **should** be good enough at RT. Not ideal but good enough. I don't think the Chargers will be the team with a problematic OL tonight, I think that will be the Chiefs.
It feels like the Chargers did more to improve their roster in the off-season than the Chiefs. KC goes into tonight with a depleted WR corps and the left side of their OL making their first starts ever, and a shaky player at RT. The Chargers go into tonight's game with a full complement of skill position players. Nobody is talking about the Chargers' defense (except Andy Reid), but it may be the strength of this team.
I have the Chargers winning this game 27-16. The Chargers are tired of losing to the Chiefs, Harbaugh doesn't want to lose 3 straight to them.
One thing that is really exciting about going into this season is the number of rookie offensive skill position players on the roster who have the potential to be impact players. Hampton. Harris. KLS. Gadsden. I can't remember the last time the Chargers had this. Plus two veteran offense players new to the Chargers in Najee and Conklin. It's going to be fun.
This is the best offensive roster Harbaugh's Chargers have had in Ano HC2
We got a shot. It'll depend on screw-ups. We don't make them, KC throws a couple picks. It's all Chargers.
I'll be watching our OL and run game. I know we can pass but to march the field, we gotta have some wins at the LOS and decent ground yardage.

Chief vulnerabilities going in:
1. left side of their offensive line
2. interior of their defensive line
They won't get to Herbert often bringing 4 people ....
A. can the charger interior offensive line work together to pick up the blitzers and stunts, and double Jones (if needed) to keep him from being disruptive?
B. can they pile drive Tillery into his linebackers?
C. what do they know about Fulton that they can take advantage of?
Charger interior play needs to be solid .... no more Pip there helps a lot.
