Look, we can come up with hypotheticals all day long, so I can say what if Slater comes back better than ever?
How about waiting to see how the season unfolds and Slater recovers before taking a whiz on him?

Obviously, I don't know what Alt's responsibility is, but he ignores the guy to his left, and shoves keenan off his block and out of the way to get to that safety. Ultimately its the guy he ignores and Keenans block that he disrupts that gets to OH8. If he gets that guy to the left and doesn't shove Keenan, the blocking is there for a big gain it looks like. Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
Let’s win one for Mack.

In the first two games last season, JK Dobbins rushed for 130+ yds and scored a TD in each game. He started his disappearing act in week 3 in Pitt. He didn't have another 100 yd game again, though he did score twice in the games against Clev and Cinn.
This season for Denver he rushed for 63 yds against Tenn and 76 yds in Indy, and scored a TD in each game.
If my memory serves, I read the Chargers did offer him a contract this season, but he reportedly was offended by the numbers Hortiz was offering and got a better offer from Denver. He felt slighted by the Chargers. Do I have this right?

41:45: Mike Florio opines here that Hampton has been a disappointment so far relative to expectations, but the picks the Chargers to win 24-17,with Najee getting the bulk of carries. Simms raves about Jesse Minter's pass defense, he picks the Chargers to win 23-21, not cover the -2.5 spread.

Everybody is picking the Chargers. The Broncos were the media's preseason darlings, but they've all jumped off the bandwagon, what a short ride. Noted here is that the last team to start the year with 3 straight wins over division opponents was the 2006 Bears, who went to the Super Bowl that season.
