QBs taken in the top 5 of the 1st round of the draft are usually supremely talented, but end up on terrible teams. QBs taken late in the 1st round are usually far less talented and have more questions, but at least they end up on good teams. Dart is a QB with lesser talent on a bad team. I'm not worried.

We are the best defense and best passing offense NYG has played. They lost to weaker teams. Let's not screw it up.

A couple things that I heard on the Locked in Chargers crossover Pod today.

1. Dexter Lawrence is not playing like Dexter Lawrence this year.
2. The whole team didn’t know that Dart was starting until they found out on Social Media. I would think you would address the whole team that you were starting Dart before you did a presser.
3. Abdul Carter has been playing snaps as a stand LBer
4. Dart has never got any reps with the 1st team until this week.
5. We know Nabers is a great talent, but far from a team player if he’s not getting the ball.

IMO, I think Daboll has or is starting to lose the locker room. This is his last ditch effort to save his job. Daboll seems like he has not been the best communicator.

It will be interesting if the team starts to mail it in.

Headed into NY here's how our defense has played the first three weeks...

Defense has 7 sacks but only one from from an edge player:

Tuli: 0
Dupree: 0
Mack: 1
Murphy: 0

So to get our sacks we've had to risk bringing extra defenders into the pass rush.

Tuli is ahead of everyone in QB pressures, though, with six.

The change in QB will make the game interesting. They probably hoped not to have to start him with signing Wilson, but after Dart’s performance in preseason, it was always a matter of time. It will be a tough game for the kid because the Giants haven’t really played well and aren’t a good football team, but he’s got a skill set to elevate others and kick start their season if things click into place for them. It’s also likely to be Daboll’s last throw of the dice to save his job.

It’s always interesting to see how the rookie copes with the pressure. For me, I think Dart will take it in his stride based of how he was in college, but we have the talent to make his and the Giants’ lives hell. Especially if the offense fires and forces him to play more aggressive and open game.

I have nothing to base this on but a hunch.

Aside from Daboll perhaps wanting to make a change to save his job...there's also a chance ownership pushed for a QB change to promote tickets and ratings. Let's not forget how that Italian kid was thrust into playing QB for them, despite being way over his head. (Big Italian community in Jersey)

The Giants will definitely be energized and have more juice than a Russell Wilson led team.

Dart will make some mistakes but I think he can make some plays and i dont think the moment is too big for him

Dart and Skattebo will energize the crowd.

Lucky for us the crowd is not playing then.
