^^^THIS^^^ Those that question McConkey are probably the same guys that would criticize Alworth or JJ if they dropped a ball. Drops happen. Keenan has drops, Gates had drops......EVERY receiver drops the ball. Be happy we have the kid and that we were smart enough to trade up for him. I would look for #15 every time I dropped back as a QB. The dude is money!

Pipkins has a knee injury and had a questionable pregame status but he played 100% of the RT snaps last night according to the site I checked.Originally posted by jamrock View PostFoster Sarrell should replace Mekhi?
is Bobby Hart now the starting RT or were they resting Pipkens?

Maybe you were noticing - JK has NOT been getting good PK snaps. They are all over the place flying back at him, he’s spotting it like a bossOriginally posted by pigskin View PostGames balls tonight should go to Vidal, Gadsden and JK Scott as a holder.Justin Herbert is Elite. Ride or Die ...

I didn’t hear people criticizing Vidal last week as much as the fact they only ran about 10 rush plays all game (e.g. Gro)? Might have missed it.Originally posted by DerwinBosa View PostWell that was what we needed.
Game balls go to Justin Herbert, Kimani Vidal, Ladd McConkey, Oronde Gadsden II, Joe Alt, Justin Egboigbe, Khalil Mack, and Cameron Dicker.
Our 2024 draft is looking even better. Just shows how we have to be patient with the development of mid-to-late round picks. I'm so happy for Vidal (117 yards and one touchdown on 23 carries) and Egboigbe (two sacks). I thought Vidal was wrongly criticized after last Sunday's game. We had to abandon the running game because we fell way behind early. Today his stats didn't look so good after only nine carries, but he finishes with over 100 tonight because we were able to stick with the running game. Alt, McConkey, Egboigbe, Still, Hart, and Vidal...any more questions about how great of a draft Hortiz had in 2024?
The only complaint I have is the high snaps on the field goal and extra point attempts. I hope we can fix that, because it happened against Miami, too.
I hope the injuries to Derwin and Still aren't serious.
Agree on the PK snaps, consistently off target snaps every week. JK saved the MIA game winning bad snap, he’s getting used to having to do it every snap now.Justin Herbert is Elite. Ride or Die ...

Yeah, that long snapper needs some target practice. JK was catching them in his ear and behind his head. I lauded him after the Miami game for doing just that, snatching a shit snap and giving Dicker a perfect hold. THAT could have been a disaster.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post

Oh and not to criticize.....but what the hell happened on that Dicker kickoff that hit his cover guys? That looked like one of my drives when I played golf!!!!

Colts run defense is ranked 6th. Vikings ranked 24th,
I don’t think I’m going out on a limb thinking those two things might have influenced Vidals run stats in the games.

lol I’ve seen that swing on a tee box before. Glad he didn’t fall and hurt himself I guess. Dicker gets a lot of passes for quite awhile - he’s banked a lot of chips for us. Just glad it didn’t matter. Still more concerned about Fickens KO coverages, he got them to make a couple good plays tonight - small step - but again we see returns out to the 40+. got lucky with Viking penalties a couple times (1 or was it more?).Originally posted by La Costa Boy View Post

I worked until 5 so by the time I got home, I was tape delay the entire game. Post-game obs and game balls
#1 - GREAT bounce back performance by the Bolts. All phases came with energy and focus
#2 - Vikings really sucked. Wentz should be called Wince. it seemed he can’t even throw it more than 20 yards. Their OL was shredded backups
Between the two - and the Any Sunday truth - can’t say too much on an eternal meaning to the game. Just great individual game, gotta focus on the next one like they lost 2 in a row again
#3 - BUMMED to hear new injuries piling as old ones slowly return to the field. Fingers crossed on DJ and Still in particular
Game Balls
- Herbert. Vikings harassed him relentlessly. He found ways we should not expect, and some here don’t deserve
- Alt - just a different tone and tenor. Allowed Herbert to know one side was ok as he looked to escape
- OG - he is firmly the OG now. Great new TE, he’s sitting #3 in the league this morning (before weekend games).
- Vidal - 2nd superior game. Century stats. Showing better vision and burst.
- Mack - he just professionalizes that defense - a lot of guys play better when he’s on the field looking at them. like letting down your dad.
- Ladd - got more chances, made all but one, led the receivers
- Eggs - double sack master
- KOC - special mention for leaving Wentz to writhe in pain all game so he could save his pussy QB McCarthy from embarassment. Ive never seen a coach sacrifice a #2 so brutally for so long in my long life. They had zero chance with Wentz in the game with that patchwork OL, it was obvious he couldn’t go anywhere to escape and felt pain every time he threw.
TEN should be another “easy” (nothing easy in NFL) game, hopefully we start to get back from the injury curse by PIT for the back end run.Justin Herbert is Elite. Ride or Die ...

Hard to believe O'Connell kept sending Wince back in there time and time again, knowing the dude was injured badly, writhing in pain, and subjecting him to more sacks and hits...if he's not going to send in McCarthy, at least send in the other dude earlier....Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post- KOC - special mention for leaving Wentz to writhe in pain all game so he could save his pussy QB McCarthy from embarassment.
