Wondering the same. It's starting to get a bit concerning. Could bite us in close gamesOriginally posted by Topcat View Post
I was also wondering what's up with Dicker's short kickoffs...I think he only had one touchback...plus that missed FG, his first this season...wonder if he's playing hurt...

Are you guys getting your injured players back soon? I see a couple more went down last night.Originally posted by Topcat View Post

You cannot be comparing QJ and his history of drops to Ladds one drop. Its apples and oranges. QJ has a history of killing us in games and Ladd does not. Im not sure what you are saying mate. lolTrue...McConk does have more drops with 5 to QJ's 2...he does have a few more targets though...it does seem that QJ's drops seem to be at really crucial times, but oh, well, McConk is still totally studly...and I still like QJ, unless some straight-up trade opportunity for a solid C or G came up which I might consider...Originally posted by YAC View Post
It greatly pains me to say, as a massive Ladd fan, but over the season McConkley has more drops this year than Q.
Ladd has more drops by count, and by percentage than any of our WR.
I do emphatically agree with you Fleet, that it was very, very different last season, where Ladd was captain of trust. I do expect Ladd to get back to himself soon.

The emergence of Gadsden has opened up everything. LBs and Safeties can no longer crowd the line of scrimmage. Run game gets gashes and it will lead to HomeRun deep balls.Originally posted by Cdn Bolt View PostWas in transit so listened to the game on Buffalo 550 WGR that has the ESPN? coverage of TNF and had an LA broadcast. I cant remember the announcers but they were big Chargers fans and heaping large praise on Orande Gadsen making plays all over the field calling him unstoppable. One was commenting he also had 160 yds last week and how was it possible this guy was a 5th round draft pick.

Not getting the sudden QJ talk. Think he's still injured, nothing more to see.A healthy Chargers team is second to none. The best way to stay healthy is to avoid further injury. And the best way to do that is to not play football. So if we just stop playing football, there's no limit to what this team can accomplish.

Strategy to force a return. The plan is to make a tackle and pin them inside the 30 yrd line (or less). Look how effortlessly he kicks off. He could kick it out of the endzone if he chose too.Originally posted by Topcat View Post

Yeah, Hortiz is finding good players in the late rounds. Hart, Still, Vidal, Gadsden, Mickens, Eboigbe, I still think KLS will develop. This is where Telesco failed miserably, his picks after the 2nd round were piss-poor.Originally posted by Lone Bolt View PostMickens INT. Eboigbe 2 sacks. Vidal, McConkey, Harris, and Gadsen with TDs...Alt having a decided effect on the oline...first and second year players...
Jim n Joe use only the very best ingredients in the kitchen...
Might not be quite ready yet...but damned if what they are cooking up doesn't smell mighty good!

Topcat This is what I meant, his kickoffs are short by design. Fickens wants Dicker to drop kickoffs in the LZ and have his special teams hold them to a short return.Originally posted by ShockNAwe View Post
