Experts like to talk about "layering", where Herbert has several options on each play. Each weapon has things they do well. IND uses this operating system at an historic success rate.

For the Chargers, it will be according to coverages and gameplanning, us offensively and opponents defensively.

Gadsden is making plays that are challenging for rookies to make. This is very impressive. Production for Oronde could go through the roof, as you suggest.
The Chargers suddenly have an embarrassment of riches among its pass catchers, to the point there are too many mouths to feed. But let's keep it that way, it's super-charging the passing game, defenses can't cover everybody. Much of Gadsden's success is tied to his blocking ability. He has become an effective blocker in the run game. That helps him get wide open on play-action. A formation looks exactly like a run play and he will engage in a block long enough to sell it as a run while Herbert is faking a handoff, then he will release into a pattern and get open. This is what happened on his longest reception against the Vikings where he was wide open and had a long YAC. Kirk Herbstreit commented that Gadsden got lost in coverage.

Plus, all the components, save Keenan and Zion, are under contract next year.
Just add an NFL quality center.

            * and oline depth (before someone bites my head off)

You could say the same thing about Harris. His blocking is what is giving him snaps and what could make QJ expendable, IMHO. While QJ is on the roster it's going to be hard to get Harris more snaps to continue his development.
                  ADOPTED BOLT: Quentin Johnson

                  Season: WK4
                  REC: 22
                  YARDS: 337
                  TDs: 4

Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

WEAPON ONE in the passing game? Just asking!

Here are stats from game four onwards.
                      #1 in Receiving Yards.
                      #1 Yards Per Attempt...by a mile
#1 (by far) in completion percentage when targeted.
#1 Quarterback rating when working with Justin.

I remember this time last year the Chargers had ZERO weapons outside of Ladd. Oritiz went into this offseason to find find more weapons for JH. Now look at all the weapons this team has. Not only that but outside of KA all these weapons are YOUNG and will grow with JH. Now just imagine this time next year when Ortiz goes into the offseason and prioritizes BEEF on both lines. Rome wasn't built in a day and we all new this would be a three year project going in.

                        The Titans are very beattable
If the Chargers lose that game, their chance of playoff are 52%
                        If they win, it's 74%
                        Please, win that game !
