He hasn't adjusted well to the new rules;
nor was the special teams all that good last year.

He gets a lot of input in player personnel, and he's not producing.

Putting Tuli out there against Indy and directing the kickoff to his side was amateurish.
If he goes somewhere else next year, I won't be disappointed.

Are you sure ST wasn’t that good last year? At the midway point they were apparently10th overall via the guys who did the ST DVOAs.

He seems flat-footed and behind the rest of the league about the new KO process and how to scheme and coach a ST squad to excel in it. I didn’t say this last year, but he’s now had a year and a half a I don’t see any improvement. I’m not blaming the same roster that everyone says is much better for all other questions.

He’ll have the rest of the season to try and figure something out. i hope he does.

Well. The big change to KOs started last year when the kicker lines up all alone at his 35 and the rest of the kicking team is lined up downfield 10 yards from the receiving team and they all have to wait until the receiver catches the ball. They tweaked some of the details more/again this year on where to spot it based on where it lands etc. In the end zone became the 35 instead of the 30. New harsher spot at the 40 if the ball lands before the new landing zone (20 to end zone). But the basic concept of the kicker all alone back at his 35 and the blockers all waiting until the ball is caught - that started last year. It was a really big change, you sure you didnt see it?
