perhaps I'm naive, that's fine. It's true and it should happen because it's moral.
play as hard as you can, tackle as violently as you can, but don't go out of your way to injure someone you can't beat.
Some, such as Sean Payton, see it all as a gray area, where they can get away with shite.

Although not intent to injure, there are several examples this year with DEN.

Maybe it's the playing surface that is causing cumulative stress on various joints? I have no idea. There are a lot of injuries around the league every year, it feels like this year it might be even worse league -wide? Big name guys going down every week it feels like.
No doubt about it---a proven scientific fact that artificial turf causes a higher percentage of injuries compared with natural grass...especially knee and ankle injuries due to players planting and attempting to make a sharp turn or cut, and the artificial turf being so stubborn and unyielding, causing stress on joints, tendons and bones...all this repeated stress no doubt weakens those knee and ankle joints/ligaments, hence a higher injury rate...I posted this with the link to the science on another thread...L.A. has some of the best weather in the country, and we can't have natural grass? Shameful and greedy the Sofi stooges are...

That sack attributed to him...Ross Tucker pointed out that he did his job and Herbert held the ball too long.

The talk amongst pundits is that Justin needs to be a little more reckless. Sling it. Get the ball out.

Yes he had more burst than Vidal.

and yes be quicker Herbert. Either escape the pocket before it collapses or throw it away if nothing's there

Where is the dude that was complaining all game yesterday everything is Herbert's fault and that Herbert doesn't run?

Just thought I would mention that Herbert has more rushing yards with 305 than any other QB in the NFL.

You setup a false argument that never existed.

Folks did complain about IOL. I think you abused Bozeman occasionally as well.

The current discussion is how we are up shits creek because of the injuries to Tackle but everyone has attributed that to bad luck, not the FO.

Now, we can argue about how competitive the team is going forward. You seem to think the Chargers are still contenders despite the unfortunate Tackle injuries while I don’t.

Here’s hoping a victory over Pittsburgh proves you right and I’m wrong.
whoa, brother R. There is plenty of chatter that we are screwed today because we have lost OTs. Then comments FO should have done more for the OL. should have drafted OL early. those posts were not specific to IOL vs OT, so I was specific about what worries people today vs what FO should / should not have done. Its just a comment - no call to jump on me here.

I complained about IOL. All off-season, and continuing into the season. you bet, its a key weakness imo. I also commented my view on the draft, no need to repeat it.

I think the Chargers still got a chip and a chair, so no I haven't thrown in the towel. the bad roster has won 6 and lost 3. Every team has problems, and who knows what problems each team will have come January. But I see all of the roster subtractions everyone else does. I didnt say we WILL win against PIT, I said and say that we could.

Is there a stat as to if our players are injured more often at Sofi or at away games? Would be interesting to see that stat.

i agree. There's no reason we can't have a grass field at Sofi. I'm sure the Rams would prefer that as well as the Chargers.
