Sebastian Joseph Day, who or what was he diving low at ? No one pushed him. Look again everyone. Was he trying to dive at Herbert's legs ? It looked like he sort of tried to dive towards where Herbert was and whiffed, as Herbert had already moved up in the pocket.

I am not buying any explanation that SJD is 100% innocent here. Others can beg to differ.
The Joe Alt injury play was immediately up and running on Chief's planet to popular acclaim and ridicule there.

Sure looks like SDJ was at the very least reckless and indifferent to whatever happened, and whoever got injured.
One rarely sees someone so overshoot the QB position rushing the passer.

Another Staley guy, sent packing the moment Staley's icey grip was wrested from this team.
Now, the on field 'disagreement' with Tranquil comes better into focus.

Oh yeah, it's a flop but with intent to injure. Just dirty.

He collided with Alt’s leg so violently I had assumed he was pushed or thrown that way.

To hear from you he did it all in his own is VERY troubling…..and infuriating!

So McMeh, aka “The Visor,” promotes a culture of intentionally injuring players.

Sorry to be blunt, but WTF are some of you drinking?

If it had any hint of being intentional, McMeh would have benched SJD. Give him a little credit, you guys really think he’d just let it slide?
A healthy Chargers team is second to none. The best way to stay healthy is to avoid further injury. And the best way to do that is to not play football. So if we just stop playing football, there's no limit to what this team can accomplish.

              Yessir.
It did not look right in real time to me.
Then later I saw someone make the "bounty" accusation online.
wu has watched the play now 31 times.
              Boltx sees it slightly different.
              Cool.

It is useless to discuss the particular agent of downfall, it is fated.

I really don't want to come off as negative after my incident yesterday but I have close to zero faith in each of these guys lasting a whole game. Not specifically because of effectiveness, but due to health issues and at least in Becton's case also a possibility that he just doesn't want it bad enough. All three have been fighting knee issues and all of these guys are huge men. That's not a good combination for chances of sustained play - either for a whole game or weekly. Then you have Bozeman. All of these issues are why I harp on Justin so much. Because while I share beliefs with many of you that "it's not fair" that Justin should have to improve his game to perfection the fact is all of these o-linemen leave me with a rather ominous belief that they will never gel into a decent o-line unit.I hope they will soon but I have more faith in Justin to improve due to his immense talents and smarts. So I choose to hold Justin to perhaps too high an account. I see that now. It is what it is and acceptance is a good thing. I probably need to have more faith in our o-line and expect they will improve.

Is it possible that SJD simply stumbled over his own feet? I've been known to do that! How do we know that wasn't the case here? Keep in mind I share Wu's trepidations here.

                        Same.
players as decent human beings are responsible to stand up to any coordinator or coach asking them to purposefully injure another player outside of actual football actions.
perhaps I'm naive, that's fine. It's true and it should happen because it's moral.
play as hard as you can, tackle as violently as you can, but don't go out of your way to injure someone you can't beat.

Sure it's possible. That just didn't look like a natural fall to me. Then again he probably outweighs me by 40 lbs so maybe he falls different. The one thing that I do know for sure though is this, if I do not stop eating all of this damn Halloween candy I will soon be able to find out!!
