Over the bye, the best option is replacing Roman with someone else. But who do you replace him with that’s an immediate upgrade?

As for the OL, here’s a really crazy and stupid idea because I got nothing right now.

LT: Pipkins (since he’s only good at pass blocking)
LG: Penning (he’s better inside)
Center: Zion or James
RG: No idea what to do here other than Becton
RT: Hart

I’m sure nothing bad will happen with switching up the OL that much against the Raiders. But I’m desperate for ways to salvage this season.

Pipkins is ass at LT. I don't know why this keeps getting rehashed, unless you're listening to people like Steven Haglund who think he's an actual swing-tackle. He's a backup RT and that's it. He has shown no ability to block at LT -- every time he's been there for any brief period, he's given up a hell of a lot of pressures and sacks.

Hate to say it but you wouldn't see what we saw today with a Vrabel team

He did a lot of stupid things when he was the Titans HC. Staff being one of them, Glad he’s having a great first season with the Pats though.

I don't see 10 wins for this Charger team on the remaining schedule. Maybe 1 more W against the Raiders. Maybe.

They started out fine against Wash and then the momentum just shifted after the QJ fumble for whatever reason. The Colts game wasn’t surprising given that they did that to other teams this year.

Payton is a better playcaller than Roman. But he also makes just as many mistakes as HC as Harbaugh. It happens.

I mean 10 wins will get you in. Maybe even 9 this year. It's a guarantee first round loss tho and do we even want that negative narrative built up? (Herbert 0-3 in playoffs)

If Harbaugh can't coach to win the rest of the season games, then he should be considered overrated. Injuries or not, there are solutions to our problems on the roster, but I question how involved Harbaugh is in personnel decisions, and just how much he defers to his assistant coaches. Not starting Salyer at LT is a crime, and trotting out Bozeman at C week in and week out just to hope he has that one good game out of a couple in the entirety of the season is insanity. The OL just doesn't gel with Bozeman, it does not matter how much time you give it, or how many votes Bozeman gets to be a captain.

This team is 1.5 full season away from a TT cap hell rebuild where we STILL made the playoffs...

Now we have a decimated oline and RB corps...

Harbaugh is a culture builder but I wonder if he is the game day coach Reid, Payton and some other are. Seems clueless at times

I think he’s very similar to Marty, in that he can be super ************ on 4th and short. His other main weaknesses was hiring Roman as OC instead of Run Game coordinator, and not pushing for more IOL help in FA and the draft.
