If he does miss time this is the one that we declare at game time as a surprise. We all chalked this one up as a loss so not the worst option to play a running QB with Hampton back

He wasn't the only one! I realize it was the Raiders and not the Texans but that second half today was almost pristine football from our boys. That's hard to fathom (for me) after that diabolical demonic possessed crazy Jags fiasco just two weeks ago.

Agreed wu-dai. Guess I’m still salty after the pathetic performance vs the Jags. Bolt up!

Especially if Omarion is coming back. They’re all important games but I fear rushing Herbert back too quickly after surgery might make things worse. This is all base on 2023 stuff where he had a bye to recover after he similarly broke a finger on his left hand.

Maybe in his time off he can learn to pass.

For a pass to maximise the ball’s potential, it must contain numerous technical details that, when intertwined, produce one of the finest sights football has to offer. The artful pass starts with vision. To spot an open pocket of space or even to create an entirely new pocket of space for a teammate to run into requires perception. A player with an attuned ability to spot opportunity for a pass or create space for a teammate with a pass is a rare treasure in the modern game.

After vision comes technique. Technique is typically used as a broad, overarching term to describe a touch, shot, dribble, save or almost any other ball-related action on the field. Johan Cruyff, however, had a different, more specific definition for the word. “Technique is passing the ball with one touch, with the right speed, at the right foot of your teammate.”

According to Cruyff, technique encompasses composure, quickness, weight and accuracy, all under passing’s artful umbrella. The passer must be composed enough to play a one-touch pass in the right situation, quick enough to get the ball off before the defender arrives, savvy enough to put the right amount of weight on the ball, and accurate enough to play the ball to his teammate’s proper foot.

Or it could just be a rifle shot.

Amazing. The Packers are damn good! Did you watch the Chargers vs Jaguars game two weeks ago? I still can't talk about it. So UGLY.

                      We're both still in it.

I stayed away from this board for a few days after that as I didn’t want to bother you guys after that Jaguars game. That was a cross country trip where I think you guys were worn out from the travel time. If you played them at home it’s a different story there.

I honestly don’t understand why some here in TPB are Chargers fans. It’s not your fault, it’s me. I can’t fathom feeling so constantly negative about a team and then still following it and being a hard core fan of it. There is a small set that literally never actually roots for the Chargers during game, they spend the entire game predicting the next gloom and catastrophe.

Chargers walk away winning by 17, a dominant performance, +17 is a HUGE win in the NFL, and they still say their own team sucks. It’s me, its not them - cuz I don’t get it. Life is way too short, I’d do something else if I felt that negatively about any thing. If it were Indian food, I’d just not eat it. if it were psychedelic funk jazz, I’d just not listen to it. If it were extra wide bell bottoms, I’d just not wear them. yeah - i don’t get it

Congrats to Jim, Greg, Jesse and the entire staff for preparing the team to kick the living shit out of LVR. I thoroughly enjoyed their traumatic beatdown, even more so when they show Pete on TV. Fuck that guy.

Game balls to all the players that end in “ee” sound
                          - Tuli, Jamaree, Herbie, Kimani, …. And then game balls for all the rest

There is no way Herbert won’t play next Monday night. He can, he will, and he must.
