I agree with you,. Try to run the ball - I would love to get the number of carries the Bears gotOriginally posted by Chargers8491 View PostThe formula for the Chargers winning is simple, run the ball. If they have 25+ run attempts they will win, if not it's going to be tough. Defense needs to keep the game close, so they don't have to abandon the run to play catch up.
Field goals might be your friend - points are points - as the Eagles do have trouble scoring the ball so I know we want TDs but just keep moving forward at times. When Detroit played Philly a few weeks ago, Campbell kept going for the big play and what not when maybe being a bit more pragmatic, taking the points, playing field position. I understand it is about the flow of the game but giving this Eagles offense a short field is helping them immensely.

I’m feeling very nervous. The Bears ran for 285 yards rushing on the Eagles defense so if we cannot stop the run we’re in trouble. If we can then we should win.Originally posted by Bolt4Knob View Post
How are you feeling about Bears at Packers?
In my pick'em league, I like the Packers at home.

Eagles lost to 2-10 NYG. This is not their SB champ team. They're good, not great.Originally posted by Caslon View Post
Agree. The Raiders are a 2-10 team. The Eagles are the defending SB champs. That’s about as far apart as you can get. However, the Eagles have been struggling lately. Jalen Hurts’ play has fallen off noticeably. There’s a real possibility the Chargers don’t get blown out. Being as it’s a Monday night game should help the Chargers play better than their string of cross country collapses when they started at 10:00 AM our time.

I haven't watched them but hard to figure what has changed for them. They have the key players back but haven't looked as dominant this season and have fallen into a mid/late season lull.Originally posted by sonorajim View Post

Last years running game was dominant. Even if teams knew it was coming -- they got yards. That is not happening this year. So they are behind the chains more and the passing game is not clicking.Originally posted by jamrock View Post

Two games on 9/28 and 11/16 isn't much of a string. Yeah, they sucked.Originally posted by Caslon View Post

That's a nice succinct response. I was wondering about Saquan. Sometimes when RBs have those massive years they fall of dramatically the next year.Originally posted by Bolt4Knob View Post

That is at least on offense. Lane Johnson being out is a big deal. The Eagles record without Lane Johnson is not goodOriginally posted by jamrock View Post

On defense, I think they are a bit more inconsistent. Like they played well against the Packers and Lions, but the Bears ran all over them
Chargers need to be able to run the ball. They need to keep the Eagles from teeing off on Herbert
