Once Gadsden established himself Conklin has barely played at all.

In my view the playoff tight ends (assuming Fisk's health) are
    Gadsden
    Fisk
    Dissly

    In that order.
The thing is, I don't think the Chargers have any IR activations remaining, at least not until next week, after the season is over they gain two two injured reserve activations, I haven't even read anything about Fisk getting ready to make his return...without snowing what the status is with Fisk, it's kind of difficult to make any kind of predictions, I'm not sure they'd feel comfortable going into the playoffs with only 2 TEs on the roster...

I think today Saturday they'll make a move, I wonder if it's an IR move and probably someone that doesn't look physically ready to return in time for the playoffs?

All bring data points to the table that makes you wonder if the Chargers pay attention to how other teams do things around the league. Other offensive minds. Shanahan is kicking teams a**es with his play calling.

Like Seattle, the last 6 or 7 games, the offense has not had many long, sustained drives for TDs Like the Seahawks have had 5 TD drives 35 years and in and 5 70+ yards to go - its a split. They score because of special teams or their defense. So Saleh, if he has the same data, might try to make Darnold, go the distance and not give up a big play to JSN or Shaheed tonight. Saleh might just wait for Darnold to implode

Chargers -using play action less, the GAC pod guys were saying the Chargers are near the bottom in "open receivers" - how that is ranked, not sure but between less motion and fewer open receivers, along with the OL issues, its tough sledding

But Harbaugh needs to find somebody who can scheme better than Roman. It is that bleeping simple! You bring up running inside when the Chargers are a better outside running team. I don't care that Hunter and Anderson are on the Edges, do what you do best and if you lose, at least it made sense

I understand if the Chargers are one and done - it is because of the Oline, probably.

But - for the Chargers to take a step forward, Greg Roman, Mike Devlin, Nick Hardwick - all need to go. Period!

Nikko Reed to IR would make sense. He’s listed as OUT this week, on active roster and has barely dressed this year. That would open up a spot.

Also I wouldn’t be surprised if Haskins to IR, too, depending on his injury.

            Reed makes sense
Haskins - they might need a RB tomorrow so he could make sense too

The Chargers recievers are outnumbered in coverage because we are running heavy and Jumbo formations...FBs and 6th olineman now and then...so fewer recievers...and STILL have little time for route development and seperation...thats why they grade as "not open" compared to other groups

get 2 elite OTs back in 2026 that are lockdown islands. Improve the IOL just to average and they won’t need 7 blockers on pass plays to (try to) stop 4 rushers and suddenly a lot of different better options appear.

Just average isn't the goal. That's minimum level after Hortiz screws up his choices for C and RG again. I want a Quality Vet C and top young RG plus improved depth.
But yes, good to great OL blocking would really open up the offense. I think we learned a few things about using extra OL blockers that can be useful
with our top OL going forward.

With Slater and Alt back, Zion resigned and a top C added we will have taken a big step forward. No need to get crazy on Jim's coaching staff.

I want more than average too. Imagine having OL6 and OL7 rumbling at the 2nd level while OL1-5 are already making their primary blocks. Or imagine 5 receivers with the pass rush bottled up. Or … yeah, a better OL would do a lot - we might even become Roman fans.

I would not object to an end to the Matlock experiment too. That guy whiffs a lot, am I wrong and its normal for a FB to whiff so often?
