I would honestly be shocked if the 1st pick isn’t either a OG, Edge or DT. I know WR and even CB has been thrown around. I am also hoping they have the opportunity to trade back.

Has anybody looked into Gracen Halton? He seems to be that explosive pass rushing IDL they need. He can also stand up against the run. He will probably be there at 55. At 6’2 293 he still has decent size. Some might question his arm length at just over 31”

Agree for the most part. BPA from the above. An excitingly favorable shock is possible where someone unexpected drops. 22 is in the drop zone.

He really seems to want a new element he doesn't have

As I have been posting... Chargers were 26th in the NFL in YAC last year. I don't think Mike is into that.

Then he should value OGs more than he does lol.

lol I don't see the problem of any style of offense having really good guard play..

I do get positional value and that the Chargers braintrust value other positions more than guard. That is not unusual. Over the years we generally haven't seen many guards drafted in round 1, usually 2-4...unless they are exceptional. Iaone would be one such guard....DJ thinks he is the best lineman in this draft period.

Last year we saw Booker, and that worked out pretty well for Dallas.

Not good. 2026 had a lot of issues I won't bother to list. I don't think YAC was all about receiver talent. I believe Mike can do a lot better with last year's receivers. Making an add? Sure if mike wants, give it to him. WR/KR has been an interesting topic.

Ladd for sure, QJ to some extent...but it is time for beloved Keenan to be replaced. All of those 3rd and Keenans are nice....getting 6 yards when you need 4...but if more of those plays go to Ladd or others you might be getting 16 yards on 3rd and 4 for example. His 9 yard catch ave last year is at the the bottom area of all WRs. Its ok to move on from a great when its time.

I totally see the Chargers interest in KC Concepcion. He can do it all, gets open very quickly, runs good routes, great after the catch, can play slot or outside, can catch short or get deep. And instantly best KR on team
