Zion Johnson last year was 51/81 guards per PFF. I get its one metric but that puts him below average but not anywhere near where Bozeman and Becton were.

With that, I think Biadasz, solid, PFF was 11/40 centers - somewhere in the mid teens this year, excellent
    Strange -not sure

But if you tell me LG will be in that 45-50 range - with Biadasz, Alt and Slater -- I thikn the OL will be a solid group - top 12 to 14

12 - 14 is close to middle of the road, with two elite OTs and one upper level center. From top 3 to middle of the road ... the OGs have to be better than that.

I would say "should be" as opposed to "have to be". 12-14 and middle of the road is a major improvement on dead last by a large measure. We have that in the bank. I'm a big fan of quality OL and hope to see major improvement at OG. It's too early to judge right now. There are several candidates. There will be a different blocking scheme and play calling.
Let's see them at work in camp and preseason. We're in way early stages of training and selection.

They're running more to build endurance for their attack vs DL's etc. Pretty cool, exciting.

Brett Kollman breaks down McD's offensive schemes...

              Run scheme:

              Pass scheme:

Run: Elite tackles and solid center makes the guard's job easier... allowing them to do other work.
Pass: Let your QB do what they're comfortable doing. Under center play action. Roll out with WR's working against the defensive flow.

We have the players to run these schemes. I have a feeling that Hampton and QJ are going to feast. The three TE's we have will allow us to be very versatile and hard to plan against. Our off-season moves have been well thought out.

              Protect the QB
              Run the ball
              Play great defense

I feel that Mike McDaniel chose us as much as we chose him.
We have the players he wants/needs. This could be a special year.

folks - please do not be surprised to see Mickey D do things ya’all ain’t seen before. Forget the hyper-analyses of past offenses on prior teams cuz while that has clues to some concepts, it does not hold complete answers. Ain’t nobody seen what he’s gonna cook here yet, it will be new to this world and it will be glorious. Mickey D is on a mission to prove to the world he is the greatest offensive mind on this planet. He has no plan to do this by re-running what he’s done before. He is locked in, focused, and committed to a new enthusiasm unknown to mankind.

and he is fully aware that nobody has got it better than the 2026 LAC.
                    Its all Footwork nowadays ...

Slater noted it was his 300th day of recovery and he feels great….doing squats, sprinting…etc…

He looked like a redwood tree! Can’t wait for him to get another pro bowl nod at LT this year.

He’s getting a lot of likes because he’s trying to help fix Roman’s bad teachings and make Herbert better in that way. You, on the other hand, do not have the pedigree of McDaniel and no one should take anything you say seriously,
