I have to agree with Money, I am more concerned about the defense. The pass rush is non existent and there were guys open all over the field.

The completion percentage numbers against multiple Charger defenders are scary bad.

GRo the Scapegoat who had back to back 11 win seasons with less than ideal personnel at OL was with Giants as senior offensive assistant up in the booth tonight and his team put up an efficient 28 pts and the W.

And today the Bolts with bookend pro bowl tackles healthy and an upgrade at center along with the supposed deepest TE group, and most talent RB group they they have had in Harbaugh era, along with the young genius at OC in McDaniel only put up an inefficient 14 pts and the L.

I am saying this because even though there were many times I thought GRo need to have some quick throws to help protect Herbert, what Roman did do very well was control clock which allowed the defense time to rest. Tonight the Giants had 36:40 to Dallas 23:20.

It is only just one game and just week 1. But that's all we have to go on at this point.

Bolts better get their shit together and win next week.

I saw more of the back of the jersey of #48 that I'd care for. I mean Mack52 is just Mack, aging or what not, he's a future HOFer but what did we get outta this supposedly back to healthy Bud Dupree today?

On offense it is a totally new install of a complex offense with the most pre snap motions in the NFL, it not being perfect in week 1 is not unfathomable... whereas they are basically running the same defense for the 3rd year in a row.

This defense could not get home to the QB even when rushing 5

The delta between expectations and performance was probably greater for the Chargers than any other team. Maybe the Rams but they were playing a top tier team

How so?.The offense scored 14pts and had two turnovers. And late in game when defense was forcing Cardinals to punt over and over again, the offense went backwards and turned it over.
