Stinky was asking you about how much top pass rushers in their first FA contracts make. You came back with Philips stats today and then quoted Von Millers contract which is a rookie deal.

It is hard to decipher what Stinky ever is saying. But, if you are asking apples to apples then you need to compare Freeney to what guys make on their 3rd contracts. Right now do you consider we are getting more value from Freeney on his third contract (at $4M) than what Denver is getting from Phillips at his $1.4M? Shit, even Bauer complained about Freeney's condition early in the first quarter today when he had to come off the field.

He's making 4.35 Million this season.

Kam Wimbley got a recent deal in the 7 APY range which was a 5 year 35 mil deal.

Osi I think is a decent comparison given their age and production and they pretty much got equal deals this offseason. Freeney got paid slightly more than him.

I don't get all the hatred for a measly 2 year deal.

We clearly haven't gotten value so far this season, but the point is that there was no one else on the market when we suffered the season ending injury to Ingram. We didn't need a starting OLB until then.
