At The Beginning Of The Season

Next season, God willing, we will have:

- Manti back
- Ingram back
- Williams back
- Taylor in the lineup
- 2nd-round and 3rd-round (picks #35 and #77) spent on defense
- Perhaps, finally, a decent (i.e., somewhat expensive) FA pickup
- Some additional depth, everywhere

And a starting LT, taken at #3.

Having all those guys out on defense sure makes it hard to get a clear picture on defense, but it's safe to say we need another pass rusher. We need to find out what the problem is with our dline though.

Offense is pretty easy to list our needs.

LT
G or C to replace Hardwick
RB to replace Mathews
WR to replace what we though we had in DX.

I assume we can use FA address at least one of these needs on offense.

Unless my sarcasmometer is busted, I'm pretty sure Den60 was praising Fluker, not ridiculing him. It sure seems to me as if he was saying that the can't-miss OTs taken before Fluker have been busts and Fluker is the best of the bunch. And that based on this year's can't-miss crop missing we should be wary of future can't-miss prospects. (And I don't believe Fluker was a can't-miss prospect.) Den60, did I misread you?

Ok, whatever, its still weak considering he's played fairly well as a rookie. It does make you appear to be rooting against him. I don't see using Mathews (who hasn't lived up to his trade up and #12 pick status) or Mouton to make any sarcastic points. Smells like an agenda.
