Went there a couple of years ago when I was visiting. I second this - the swordfish there was OHHHHMAZING.

Georges - one of my all time favorite places.

Also, any restaurant that Deborah Scott is associated with is a great choice

Oh yes! Pesto. My absolute favorite. Love the smell of fresh basil.

Although will still recommend the George's Terrace, C Level isn't a bad call if you want a different view.

Las Olas (North County), Aladdin's in Clairmont is great food but in a strip mall (we go there at least once a month though, great food), Point Loma Seafood, The Prado at Balboa Park, George's or other rooftop restaurants in downtown La Jolla.
                Prediction:
                Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

The Las Olas in Cardiff-By-The-Sea is located on an awesome stretch of beach that would make for a great walk after eating a large lunch with beers or margaritas. I used to jog that beach every day back in the early 80s. Just an amazing view. Sunsets there are to die for. I'd also expect you'd be able to see a few whales if you're coming in October. They should be migrating about then, if my memory serves correctly.

I have to say that when I have been dating and were sitting across the table from a potential mate I wasn't looking for whales unless the date was going really, really badly.

Read this in the UT today, at Caroline's, a good (hidden) casual lunch place with an incredible view, double tie in!

So Den did you eat at that new place? Curious to know if the food matches the location.
