I think our play calling got too pussy last week. And I thought we should have gone for a 2-point conversion to tie it today. But what McCoy, or whoever, has done with the offensive line has been fucking genius. I have no idea how this is working.

I wish he could work the same magic with the defense.
If the Chargers had gone for 2 and failed It wouldve been only a 1 score game at the end(if everything in the universe happened the same way)

The offense is a combination of multiple offenses from Wiz, McCoy, and even parts of Norv's offense. The key to it all is letting Rivers work at the LOS though. It's all about recognizing the mismatch and attacking it. Recognizing the pressure and changing the protection. The NFL has changed. Defenses are too quick now. You just can't afford to sit back and wait for plays to develop all day. Gotta just get it out and minimize mistakes. We've had a modicum of success so far, but there's still a ton of improvements they can do.

Oh it also helps that we don't send WR's deep every fucking play and have to change personnel groupings every down. Keep it short and sweet. Run the ball enough to keep the defenses honest. Pick them apart at the line of scrimmage. Profit.

Too early in the game, and if we miss it potentially kills our momentum.

Rivers played well today. Dallas' CBs were terrible but I was really surprised at Dallas' inability to pressure him. That would always been item #1 on my list against the Chargers.

It wasn't for lack of effort. Rivers was beating the blitz. His reads were spot on all day.

One thing is for sure, they don't play defense in the NFC East anymore. KC put 31 on the Giants today.

Better. He's not handcuffed by the HC anymore.

Put me in the "better than his old self" category. +1 to the new coaching staff and +1 to Rivers for changing his ways.
                  Prediction:
                  Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

                    Giants don't play quarterback either.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen coaches go for two TOO SOON in a game and have it backfire on them late in the game. Being up by 9 (two scores) instead of 8 (one score) made a huge difference in this game. Right call by McCoy (IMO).

True. I think we would have made the 2 point conversion though. We had all the momentum.
