Woodhead to the rescue!! Honestly I love watching Mathews but the potential fumble every time he hits the line gives me the heebee geebees. I don't think we lose a lot of production at all with Woodhead...he's more of a matchup issue IMO since he clearly can run nice routes and has good hands (when its within his smaller reach mind you). I predict Woodhead will cause the Raiders the most headache of any player this week mainly due to his versatility.

Glad to hopefully have 40% more of the starting OL back. The left side is still the "oh boy" side but they held up well last week with the uptempo game plan....stick with what works Whiz...it will cause the CrackHole to really tighten up....ewwwww

Take it for what its worth:

Michael Gehlken ‏@UTgehlken: Ryan Mathews appeared on injury report today with hamstring injury. McCoy: "It was just tight, so we took him out." Listed as probable.

        Chargers at Raiders

The Chargers will be missing tackle King Dunlap (concussion) again this week and guard Chad Rinehart (toe) will likely join him on the inactive list after being listed as doubtful. Guard Jeromey Clary (collarbone) and guard Rich Ohrnberger (groin) are listed as questionable along with cornerback Johnny Patrick (chest) and cornerback Shareece Wright (hamstring). The Raiders are definitely playing without safety Tyvon Branch (ankle) and probably playing without running back Darren McFadden (hamstring) and center Stefan Wiesniewski (knee) after they were listed as doubtful. Defensive tackle Stacy McGee (shoulder), guard Lucas Nix (ankle), tackle Tony Pashos (groin), running back Marcel Reece (knee) and tackle Menelik Watson (knee) are all questionable, but quarterback Terrelle Pryor is slated to start after recovering from a concussion.

Mercury News is reporting DMF is almost 100% missing this game--He did not suit up for Friday's practice. Wiesniewski is also almost certainly out--Hasn't practiced this week according to the same source. They are planning to move Andre Gurode to Center, with Khalif Barnes and Tony Pashos at the tackles, as heralded rookie Menelik Watson has just started practicing and is considered to be another week away from game work. But given how the Raiders have previously reported severe injuries to their starters, and then those guys show up ready to play the Bolts come Sunday, who knows...
          Fighting for Carson...and Wilmington...ity:

You've clearly been living in enemy territory too long.

I've always lived in enemy territory. I've never seen a fanbase as small as the Chargers fanbase. I don't mean just in terms of not going to games but also not understanding what it means to be an NFL fan
