    12. San Diego 4-3-0
Believe it or not, Ryan Mathews is the only player this season to rush for 100 yards in consecutive games.

I seen that and still can't belive it, you would of thought names like Adrian Peterson, Sean McCoy, Arain Foster, or Frank Gore. Very Interesting, I like us being able to run consistent it shows we are physical and I think the lineman love being referenced as a physical line.

there haven't been that many 100 yrd rushers leaguewide each week this season, between 3-6 on any given week. Every week has had numerous 300-400 yrd passing games by qbs (the number of 400+ yrd games has slowly been decreasing though). also a lot of 30-50 point games.

the stats and rankings will probably even out eventually, but right now running games haven't been that prominent across the nfl (which inflates our numbers a bit), and defensively we're not as bad or good as our stats/rankings, just because a lot of teams are giving up just as many yards and scores.

          I don't believe it for a minute.

Wow that is definitely wacky stat considering the talent in the league at RB. Missed the game this weekend - first in a long time. Glad to hear Matthews and the OL had another solid game. Major props to the position coaches for getting the backups ready to play. Really stoked about the young players like Fluker and Allen and the D not giving up a ton of points. Like others have mentioned I really hate the spread formation in the red zone - seems to me that you give up the element of surprise. only so many draws you can do. But I love the ball control offense.... keep it going Bolts!!!
Some people say the Bolts shouldn't even be in the playoffs....

I think it's more a reflection of the state of the game....passing rules.

Not to take anything away from Mathews or how the guys up front have played. Would love to believe we are watching Mathews finally grow up in front of us. I always thought he would be a Willis McGahee or Marshawn Lynch type of back....one cut and go. And he certainly seemed to be running more that way against the Jags.

                  REDEEM TEAM.

Sorry to pile on Norv again but I love the way McCoy is handling Mathews. Norv sent him to Siberia last year after a fumble.

Also, could you imagine Woodhead in Norv's offense here? He'd be a waste just like Sproles was for the most part. McCoy is using Woodhead just like they did in New England.
Disagree. I thought Norv babied him too much. Pine time would have helped him understand what was important in the game.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
                    Let’s win one for Mack.

Aside from the jersey, he's been unrecognizable the last two weeks. It really feels the last two weeks like his yards after contact have gone up which is why he's finding more success.

He still has a ways to go before I would lobby for extending him. If he continues saying and doing the right things on anf off the field while being productive and increasing his workload on third down and in the redzone it will help. I also need to see him be successful in the critical moments of games one to see MM trusts him in that roll at that time, two just not blow it in that roll at that time.

After you finish eating all that crow, you'll probably need some exercise, so we'll just have you run the gauntlet of "I told you so's" just to get you in shape for next year.
