Only down 3 at the end and inside the 1 yard line. We know McCoy's answer about that, and it doesn't have anything to do with the hurry up.

LT would. But its not fair to LT to compare LT to Mathews.

Keep Woodhead in the hurry-up/spread/whatever you want to call it. He's a perfect fit there but take him out of the goal line plays and replace him with Mathews. Sick of seeing the Norvesque square peg into round hole stuff around here.

What they need to do is involve Matthews a bit more in the passing game. It doesn't need to be much, but you gotta give the opposing team SOMETHING to worry about with him coming out of the backfield. You can easily use both RB's at the same time by taking Brown off the field and flexing Woodhead out wide or into the slot with Gates moving out wide.

Call me crazy but McCoy response regarding Matthews at the end of the game makes no sense to me.... its not like you are asking a rookie RB to make a block for your franchise QB etc --- you are simply asking the pro to be a pro and do what he has been taught since he was probably playing pop warner - hit the hole as hard as you can. 1 lousy freaking yard!! and he can't be trusted to do that and IMHO that says all I need to know. Why the hell did we get Fluker too? Give the OL what all OL want in that situation - to smash the D for cryin out loud! :wtf:

Some people say the Bolts shouldn't even be in the playoffs....

They did have Mathews lined up as a slot receiver on at least one play.

I think Whiz has to draw the run play on Ryans hand before he is sent in to run it.
