He held out because that was his only recourse. He never feigned injury, I don't believe that for 1 second and nothing in his history says that. I want playmakers on my team, and both Jackson and Byrd fit the description. Can they make it work is a separate question, but I would take a talent like Jackson or Byrd in a heartbeat.

How about Taylor and a fourth for Byrd? Hear the VJ comparison but VJ has not been a problem since the signing and Byrd could be similar if he agrees to a deal with the trade. Plus, playing next too Weddle will shrink the ego a bit.

considering he signed very big money to a team that had an even worse record than the Chargers before he signed, with a "promising" young qb he hadn't developed chemistry with instead of a probowl qb, my guess is he's more than happy gettin mad money.

yeah VJ doesnt strike me as the type that cares too much how his team does. doesnt mean hes not competitive or a great player, but I dont think football is his life.
