Remember... And I think most agree, our best defense is a Bolt offense on the field! That didn't happen yesterday.

Indeed, the D was on the field forever since the O couldn't sustain drives with stupid penalties, drops, and turnovers.

Once again we were good enough to win but beat ourselves.
        Go Rivers!

            Then what happened yesterday?

Maybe we are lacking a leader in the Defense?

That's where they missed having Mathews pound the rock like he's done in the last couple of games.

Only seven carries. I don't get it.

I do think that ball control through the ground game is absoutely essential for this club. We're not a great running team at this point. But we're good enough that we can kind of do a better job of controlling the ball when we sprinkle in enough running. But not just using Woodhead. Objective #1 needs to be to protect Rivers. Objective #2 needs to be to keep the D off the field. Whatever needs to be done to maximize those two is the key to wins.

LOL at Denver and Houston's defenses... and those defenses supposedly have some of the best guys in the NFL.
                  Prediction:
                  Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

No where near the superstar he was and is being paid to be.
You depleted the cast around them and wonder why they weren't performing as well?

Seven of those quarters were against Oakland and Jax. Oh, and the quarter previous to that we gave up two TD passes thrown by Terrell Pryor.

I don't buy that theory at all. And what cast did Weddle have with him the secondary last year? I seem to remember the secondary being pathetic last year as well.
                          1) Jason Verrett (CB) TCU
                          2) Demarcus Lawrence (OLB) Boise St
                          3) Will Sutton (DT) Arizona St
                          4) Jarvis Landry (WR) LSU
