RB discussion

I was looking at our RB situation considering Wizenhunts offence and I am wondering if indeed we will use MGIII as an all purpose RB or if Oliver will take Woodhead roll

Not having seen any of the preseason game I was wondering if the team tipped their hand at all on this an I am interested in the group think on this topic.

I think Gordon showed last year he can be a 3 down back. I still think his receiving skills are underrated. Oliver gets more of the early down work in relief and Ekeler is the change of pace and 3rd down back. I also think Ekeler's work on ST really locked down his spot on the roster, Lynn said he was averaging 2 ST tackles a game in preseason.

I am hoping they use Ekeler as the 3rd down back and Oliver as the change of pace.

Ekeler has a lot to learn about route running and pass protection, but what little he has done so far he has shown that he can learn quickly.

We didn't do any 3rd down RB stuff in the preseason. Everything was the regular vanilla, base playbook on 3rd down.
