It's just that, from this point forward in '13, the victories are going to be pretty hollow. In other words, they serve no purpose in the long run. All my opinion, of course. But the minuscule level of satisfaction that I might personally feel after a victory is nothing compared to the disappointment I am going to certainly feel if, say, we lose drafting a guy we REALLY want (and need) by 1 or 2 picks next April.
In fact, I'd wager that more than just me are going to be posting pretty much the same thing in April (if the scenario I just described plays out): "So glad we beat the [name a team] last December. What a satisfying victory. The Raiders just drafted the guy we really wanted...DAMN!"Adipose
