I'm going to know more when I join my Aunt in going to Ramona in a week to 10 days. I hear different things but I'll know what I need to when we get to see her. I'm hoping all she has is Bells Palsy (face-drooping). It's hard to get a definitive read on things because my Mom has been working for a lady who's worse off than she is. But my brother says she's (Mom) confused - particularly in money matters Hell, I'm confused! Aye ye ye! But I'll know more shortly.

She's in my thoughts and prayers! My brother, who is more like my father (lost my parents when I was 11), suffered several strokes and is no longer the same. He suffered his first stroke and was taken immediately to the hospital where he recovered with no ill effects. He went back to the hospital to have a procedure to check his arteries a couple months later. While in recovery and asleep, he had several really bad strokes and it went undetected for a couple hours. He will never be the same... I hope your mother has a speedy and event free recovery!

Apparently my Mom has some sort of cancerous growth on her throat area. This news comes second hand from my brother. I'm not going to be there for probably her last days - I'm guessing - but I do wish her well no matter what. She's getting an operation early next week. And I'm asking you guys to simply say a prayer for her. I don't want her to hang around if she's in pain. She has my blessing to move on if that's the case.

Her face is all messed up with her prior incident (that stroke thing) and now - if she survives - much of her throat/face could be missing after the surgery next week. This is waaaaaay too much reality for me. I wish I could handle it. But i simply can't. Not in person at least. And this is the same woman that all my male teachers couldn't stop talking about how beautiful she was (when parents came to school day). Back in the day . I show pictures of her to my friends now and they say she was smokin hot....lol. I'd scan her for you guys but I don't know how. She was kind of hot I guess.
