You watch...this is shaping up to be the kind of injury that lingers all season. I wouldn't be surprised if they keep us (and Manti) hanging for half the year and then IR him. I guess if the Chargers sign a couple of street ILBs we'll know.

The Curse of Alworth strikes again!

I could see a valid reason for the extra vagueness that is happening with Teo's injury and it makes a ton of sense. Remember how much of a media circus it was here when Teo was drafted? He was surpassing Tim Tebow with the attention he was getting at one point. That has almost completely gone away which is great because it is nothing but a distraction to the players. I have to credit McCoy with putting out the media fire with Teo, and especially with regards to this injury. IMO it would be one of the biggest stories around if we made this injury more public.

I still think this was a bust pick.

great. hope it isn't 1 of those injuries like Hardwick or English had.

Still not sure how it's a bust pick at this point, but I'm guessing he won't see the field for a couple of more weeks and who knows how much missing the last 3 games and all those practices are going to set him back.

Now he has to beat out Bront Bird for 1st string. Bird starts getting 7-8 tackles a game, he's tough to take out of there.

Bird Bird Bird, Bird is the word.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

ESPN would explode. Can't cross the Te'o/Tebow streams.

                      Can IR be far behind????

It would be a most fitting end to Manti's last 12 months.

Does anyone know exactly what Te'o's injury is? I haven't read anything setting forth the diagnosis or the prognosis.

                          *Insert Mike McCoy joke*

Hopefully something comes out in the injury report. But I'm expecting it might be "a lower extremity injury"
