Feel terrible for Jason. It was always a concern with him, even when he was coming out of college.

He's a great player when healthy, and he sure seems like a great young man. Best wishes to him.

Why? They have 3 solid corners, plenty of safeties and some intriguing raw but high potential guys. Why bring in an older, higher priced, bad in the locker ron guy like him?

This. Also to note, Mager is having a good camp so far.

I'm not convinced Mager can cover an empty sofa. He's got all kinds of tools, speed, change of direction, etc...
And every single preseason as I watch someone on the other team break open, I try to figure out who was in coverage. It's usually Mager.
I hope that he is improving.

      Two words....bubble wrap.

Seriously, isn't it time to start rethinking the 24/7/365 training these players go through? How about giving them a couple of months where the heaviest thing they are allowed to lift is a ball point pen, so their bodies can heal?

Trevor Williams helped off the field today. Lynn said its most likely a sprained ankle. Those tend to linger. I think Tony Brown could emerge as a guy we are all pretty happy with.

Williams' injury could be more serious.

When asked about the injury, Williams sighed before stating, "We already lost JV and now my ankle is [expletive]...we will surely miss the playoffs."

Injury could be more serious, but to say we will surely miss the playoffs I am not buying into that we haven't even played a game that counts yet.
On the other hand I think they may look at signing Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie and I also seen a blurb about Pacman Jones was interested in going to the Chargers. I would pass on Pacman, and maybe consider Cromartie depending on the severity of Williams injury.

Well, this is what I heard Williams said, "First Buster Davis and now me. They just amputated my foot below the ankle. Our RT is a scrub. The owners are cheap. We never should have left San Diego. I think KegMouse and Xman are the same person. I blame this whole metric system thing on Canada. I mean why I gotta have 2 sets of wrenches at home?"
