        Well...the line needs to do its job as well.and at 38 i am not expecting much from gates, but glad he is here for the march to the SB.

        Gates will make the red zone better. They still have to respect him even if his wheels arent what they used to be. With Allen, Williams and Gates you have 3 good hands guys so you cant really leave Allen alone....Gates or Williams will get the lesser coverge....Rivers is going to get guys open and I predict Gates will get 6 tds this year from him if he stays healthy with his part time work. i will get a kick out of seeing Gates make every TD to extend his lead.

          his hands aren't what they used to be either. Started dropping easy (for him) passes about 4 years ago. I don't see him as a difference maker or impact player at this point.
