I think guys just drop. Team needs are often the culprit. We were all shocked when Ingram dropped to us. No real reason other than maybe a tweener concern.
For whatever reason im glad teams passed over these guys. Yes Allen as well.

I heard zip about his Wonderlic during draft season. I did hear as R05 said that teams were down on safeties this go around. I think we were just a fortuitous bunch of slobs!

2018 1st round (if I counted correctly) 4 Linebackers, 4 Corners and 2 Safeties. 2nd round was 3 LB's, 6 corners and 1 safety. So out of the first 64 picks, 10 were corners or 16%, 7 were LB's or 11% and only 3 were safeties or 5%. It's easy to see what GM's value from that little snippet so i think we were just a bunch of lucky SOB's where Derwin was concerned. Also don't forget that Kyzir was listed as a safety coming out and I don't believe I have ever seen him line up anywhere but LB. Am I wrong?
