Simple. He thought the game was over. And it was. He was just trying to get his guys to complete a drive. If they'd have rushed it, they'd have screwed it up.

That was awesome! I loved the CBS shot of the Raiders fans in the end zone on that 1st and goal at the 1. All of them had their phones out and were recording or taking a picture of their upcoming TD. Wrong! Carr throws it right to Melvin. Carr was the most overrated player in the league 2 years ago.

I thought Carr was better than this but it goes to show you he isnt very good without supporting cast. Lynch isnt their answer. They were better as a go downfield to receivers team but i think the OL and other issues affected them.

The one thing with Mahomes is he is a running qb. They just dont last long in this league. Rivers may be a statue that can sidestep but he as a result stays healthy. It would not be a surprise to see Mahomes get injured running and getting tackled.

Deshaun Watson get POUNDED last night on some of his runs. I'm shocked he made it through the game and I'd bu surprised if he lasts the season. Running QBs are great, if they are smart when they run. I don't think Mahomes looks to run nearly as much as some QBs do.

Carr is doing the same thing he did in college as he is now and is playing about how I thought he would. He has the horrible trait of panicking or forcing a horrible pass in a key situation that is just death for QBs.
