Im pissed at Lynn. He is a very green coach.

Anyone get deja vu of Leslie O'Neal?
I know his own teammate( Woody Lowe) took out his knee, but same kind of fashion in that Lowe was making a tackle and his legs whipped around to take out O'Neal?
Leslie was pure and simply AWESOME! How that dude is not in the HOF is a disgrace. He obviously recovered from a far worse injury, so hopefully MG can return and continue his climb up the ladder to greatness.

Frankly I was fine with the play call. Yes the execution went to hell and I give credit to their DL as they broke it up pretty well. I would have subbed Ek in for Gordon on that to be the one running the ball after the last handoff....he's got better speed IMO.
Any play could be blown up. It doesn't really matter what we think...we are armchair QB as fans. If Gordon had just leapt over the DL or had just been tackled we wouldn't be talking about this at all. I'm glad he's not seriously hurt and out for the year on IR.
I'm intrigued with Jackson and expect to see some good plays with him. Pitt has no tape on him. I think he will get some 1st and 2nd down carries along with Ek. Get Ek in space is where he excels but he seems to hit the hole faster than Gordon so I think there is merit in him getting 1st down runs too when its less obvious what our play call might be too. Regardless we DO need a run game against Pitt to control the clock. We are still explosive with Ek IMO...different yes but he has great skills in this offense.

Although MG is getting better, he'll never be naturally instinctive like Ekeler when it comes to hitting the holes.
MG is great when he gets into open space and he can showcase his speed, whereas Ekeler seems to find holes where there aren't any.
I'd use Ekeler on 1st downs and bring in MG on 2nd and 3rd.

This is Eks week to show what he has. I say he goes over 100 yards total. And I want to see Rivers push the ball down the field with these outstanding receivers we have instead of forcing the running game if it isn't there. Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
Let’s win one for Mack.
