This game will be physical and hard hitting. We can more than hold our own in that regard. The ratbirds are very limited offensively. They must run to be successful. Limiting that aspect will take away their only real offensive identity. Stop the run early, get a 2+ score lead, and make Lamar beat us with his arm/vision/info processing.

I was thinking similar things :thumbsup: Like Weddle getting run over by Gordon trying to make an open field tackle, or maybe coming up for run support and Watt laying him out, or Newsome subbing in to give Gordon a breather and aiming straight for Weddle and knocking him backwards out of his cleats, etc. Lots of images come to mind.

Lamarr Jackson leads them in rushing yards, fumbles, and only averages 6.5 yard per attempt, we contain him it is victory for sure there are no real offensive threats outside Jackson other than maybe John Brown he is fast but not a good route runner and not the best hands. Their D is good, but looking at them when they play teams with good offense they haven't won they lost against NO, KC, Pittsburgh split,, lost to the Bengals when they had all there weapon AJ Green, and Andy Dalton and won only by 3 when Green and Dalton didn't play. They don't have a signature win the whole season. We play focused this is our game for sure we also have the extra rest not playing in 9 days.

Make Jackson try to beat us in the air and good things will happen for us. If we establish a lead and control clock we are good. All the pressure is on the rookie QB

Scoring early, no turnovers and letting defense adjust to the game Ravens offense brings should get us a W. We can neutralize the run game if we want without a serious passing threat. We have enough speed on defense and they have been pretty disciplined against the run of late.
