Woodhead has an edge on Sproles between the tackles. Sproles still better in space. It is moot anyway, no need to pick up a player that fills a niche we have filled.

No different than if Brees was available, he is good but does not matter when you have PR.

Not really. Most teams only use 1 QB per game, hopefully. While 3-4 RBs can be used per game depending on skillset

Moot doesn't mean what most people think it means.

To be moot means to be debatable.

Yeah, it was a pet peeve of one of my English professors in college. That and chomping at the bit instead of champing at the bit.

              From an on-line dictionary:

              moot point (plural moot points)

              1. An issue that is subject to, or open for discussion or debate; originally, one to be definitively determined by an assembly of the people.

              2. An issue regarded as potentially debatable, but no longer practically applicable. Although the idea may still be worth debating and exploring academically, and such discussion may be useful for addressing similar issues in the future, the idea has been rendered irrelevant for the present issue.

Until we rebuild downtown, whether we build more parking spaces is a moot point.

The definition that most now agree with is the second. However I guess you can call that statement as moot.

                Idiom Definitions for 'Moot point'

If something's a moot point, there's some disagreement about it: a debatable point. In the U.S., this expression usually means that there is no point in debating something, because it just doesn't matter. An example: If you are arguing over whether to go the beach or to the park, but you find out the car won't start and you can't go anywhere, then the destination is said to be a moot point.

#2 must be a newer definition. I learned something today.

For all intensive purposes I always thought it was "mute point".

                      The question is moot.
