Good riddance Cam "no heart" Thomas. If he had any work ethic he could be an excellent NT. Maybe a chnage if scenery is exactly what he needs to light a fire under his ass. The talent is there, but woefully underperformed for the vast majority if his time here.

Agreed, we just don't really have much upper tier depth on the line. Ideally we can bring in a solid NT, another solid pass rushing 3-4 DE, and an Elite OLB to buff up the line.

But our 3-4 is predicated on freeing up the LBs to rush the QB. We need a big ugly at NT to keep our LBs clean.

He may have been a sought after UDFA, but that just means he wasn't good enough to be drafted in 7 rounds.

Nothing.

I'm not sure why so many people find this so hard to get, but: we only have 2 DL on the field in obvious passing situations. That's what the nickle defense does. Thus, you don't need 3 DL that are good pass rushers; you need 2. If Lissemore is playing DE, it's in the base 3-4 and it's a running down. Lissemore won't be on the field at all in passing situations unless we're forced to play him due to injuries.
