Flacco to Denver

Joe Flacco trade actually made the Broncos' Super Bowl odds worse for 2019
Apparently, oddsmakers don't think the Joe Flacco is elite
It seems that oddsmakers aren't very impressed with Joe Flacco.
After watching the Broncos pull off a surprising trade for the Ravensquarterback on Wednesday, Denver's Super Bowl LIV odds actually got worse at one sportsbook, which basically tells you all you need to know about how oddsmakers feel about Flacco.
Before news of the trade broke on Wednesday morning, Bovada had Denver's odds of winning the Super Bowl next season listed at 100-1. Those odds were made with the presumption that Case Keenum would be the team's starting quarterback. After the trade went down, not only did Bovada drop the Broncos odds to 125-1, but they also improved the Ravens Super Bowl odds from 30-1 to 28-1.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
The Wasted Decade is done.

Not really comparing him to Dilfer skillset wise. Yeah he has a bigger arm. Older QBs. Not going to be relied on to lead this offense imo. I think they will do what the Ravens did with Dilfer and thats build a monster Run game and Defense around him. He isnt the Flacco of his youth. He will manage the offense like Dilfer did but he wont be slinging it imo. He will be Dilfer 2.0 imo. And thats an older QB who simply has to manage the offense and not carry it.

212 TDs vs 136 INTs over his career. Not exactly great.

He has never thrown more than 27 TDs. +25 twice. 4K yards once. He had some success but that was more about his D and Running game. I just dont see the upgrade you do. Its ok to agree to disagree. Nothing impressive about his numbers to be quite honest. I think hes 24W-27L over his last 4 years. I just think hes dwindling. They sparked pretty good when they put Jackson in there. Now its possible he has regressed due to the lack of a run game over those years but he just doesn get the ball out fast enough. Takes a lot of uneeded sacks. And has put the ball on the ground 81 times over 163 games. Im just not as high on him as you are.
