I'm very glad Freeney showed he's a team player. Surprised he wasnt extended though....he must really want to be on the team to take an outright cut....still making a boatload compared to us folks. I hope he stays healthy this year ....i can see us showing some love with an extension if he can stay healthy and do what he was doing last year up to the injury.

Yes he was pretty active last year leading up to the injury but I this is exactly the kind of setup (age, lots of miles, serious injury) that results in a drastic dropoff in performance.ESPN Screename: GoBolts02

Ware hasn't exactly been healthy in the last couple of years. HE hasn't missed many games (3 last year), but he has been listed on the injury reports a fair amount. Freeney is older and has some more serious injuries, but both have issues. So the difference is that Freeney is in the last year of a 2 year deal, at a fair cap #, while Ware is in the 1st year of a premium cap #.
The real key for both teams is who is going to be rushing opposite either player. Both complimentary rushers are coming off knee injury, and players that need to step up their consistency. Von Miller is the better player, but probably won't be ready for the season, while Ingram is ready, he isn't as accomplished a pass rusher.
