I'm surprised at all the phony outrage (again)- like a guy's bank account means he needs to be held to some ridiculous higher standard than the average John on Main St USA paying for sex. Team owner and rich is irrelevant. Contrast with Bezos and his secret affair and sexting going public without same moral judgements by the media. All for a Simple PRIVATE business transaction that happens millions of time a day globally. Maybe the difference is because anyone going after Trump is "good" and anyone connecting to him as a friend/supporter is inherently "bad" in today's political climate.

I guess you didn't watch much of the Avenatti talk show blitzes about her lawsuit against Trump, or the Kavanaugh confirmation circus? Her name was mentioned multiple times by women TV commentators, in articles lamenting her not being taken seriously as a writer & director in addition to just a "porn actress", or the women Senators that along with spewing "women need to be believed!" there was also a couple comments and related discussions about protecting "sex workers" for their roles in society and not condemning them for choosing that lifestyle. Try googling sex worker and I bet you'll find multiple references.

To me she's Fugly as a Mud fence but I guess some people blast wood watching her "work".

And others will just fuck her and pay her big money to not tell anybody. And lie, lie, lie about it. Who is the more despicable person?

Hey, not saying your takes are right or wrong but can we keep political talk to the political forum or the non football forum. I can just see a political fight brewing and the thread being shut down.

              Thanks a ton.

                  Excuse the moderator intrusion here.

If you think the Kraft issue isn't a big issue that's fine. You can state that without making this about politics and/or the media's treatment of certain political figures.

There is a political forum for that... let's keep it off the LA Chargers page, please.
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

No looking for political fight here from me. My original post started with BFD right? And the 1st sentence was a tongue in cheek poke at absurd media climate we live in. I only ended with a food-for-thought question because earlier posts claimed hypocrisy on Kraft's treatment and holding him to a higher standard, not to redirect discussion in a political way. I did respond to others after that with some context and background that seemed relevant that had some minor political reference in it- but not intended as the main points or content for discussion or attempt a re-direct of the topic. Apologies if it was taken that way.

Back to actual topic- Kraft is accused of a mis-demeaner charge (BFD) punishable by maximum 6 months in jail and a fine and NFL is withholding further comment and judgement while the legal process plays out. Maybe everyone else should do the same instead of over-reacting and flinging charges and conspiracies around just because of who the suspect is?

If it was "just a prostitute", then it probably wouldn't be a big deal. It looks like the "prostitute" was actually a slave in a human trafficking ring.

seems like more often than not, they (NFL) try to ignore player bad conduct until video surfaces or a player gets indicted or something and public pressure makes them deal with it. I'm thinking Rae Carruth (contract hit on pregnant GF), Ray Lewis (murder) and Ray Rice (domestic/assault battery) off the top of my head. These are serious Felony charges. Consensual Prostitution has long been considered a "victimless crime" and that's basically where Kraft's behavior fits in. I know they are alleging he was caught in a bigger web of organized crime and sexual slavery sting, but nobody alleges he knew anything about that or participated in it. If he was alleged to be a Kingpin or co-conspirator, or knowing participant in the sex slave trade, then it would be a whole other story and reaction SHOULD be severe and he should face full extent of prosecution. That just doesn't seem to be the case here, even though media coverage makes it sound that way at times.
