Not sure how you arrive at that logic. Away game = not San Diego. At any rate, all those locations were minimum 4-hour drive for us.

i arrived at that logic because you live there, it was a couple hour drive for you. you didn't fly or weren't on vacation somewhere and stopped in for a game. that's what i meant. from you, i'd probably be more interested in which "home" games you attended. ones you actually packed up your stuff and flew and left your area for you wanted to see so bad.

SD vs WAS '01
SD vs BUF '01
SD vs HOU '03
SD vs TEN '04
SD vs DAL '05
SD vs AZ '10

All at The Murph/The Q. Flew 2000 miles each time. But see, those are all 'home' games. I starte the thread to hear about people leaving the friendly confines to see their beloved Chargers.

And if you had ever driven from east KY to Indy, you'd recognize that's no small feat. 'A couple hours'...try 6!!!

if you can drive from home between two meals it isn't sh#t as far as being a trip, sorry!

but i understand what you're trying to get people to discuss. i was just wondering if you'd gotten to travel somewhere away from home since all the games you listed were within a few hours driving. it looks like you have, and either way i'm not suggesting you're not a "real" fan or anything. hope you don't take it that way. like i went a game in seattle when i lived in that area and i wouldn't feel right taking credit for that. i traveled more to fly down for one of our horrible home playoff games against the jets(thanks kaeding!)

I guess to me it's not about 'taking credit', or getting any, or how much money was spent, miles traveled, etc. The point was what 'away' games you have gone to, and if the Chargers are the away team, that's it. Clearly we have different ideas of what that means. Your going to a game in Seattle 'counts' in my book...the Chargers were the away team. That's the only standard I'm 'counting'.

Now if the topic was 'what lengths have you gone to to see the Chargers' or 'most miles traveled to see the Chargers' then I could see your point.
