The Bolts are going to have to invest in more recovery techniques to keep up with Drue.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

        From CBS
team logo Drue Tranquill LB, ND

        Height: 6-2, Weight: 234

Tranquill is a modern-day linebacker who almost plays like a coverage-based safety. He tested through the roof at the combine. He's much further ahead in coverage than he is as a run stopper. A-

We love the Golden Domers. At this point in the draft, why not get more projects for the line. Although, linebackers are needed, preferably, ones without an injury history.

That's what I was thinking when watching the tapes. I just hope he can stay healthy.

Pretty much. Love that he's a gym rat and a leader.

Some more perspective from the Falcons pre draft.

                TG
The Atlanta Falcons have their starting linebackers set, but should they decide to add one, Drue Tranquill should be at the top of the list.
Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

I don't get it... this site has him as undersized and slow. 4.5 40 doesn't seem slow.

Tom Telesco must have liked what he saw on film when watching Notre Dame games this offseason. With their fourth-round selection, the Los Angeles Chargers ...

                    Quote:

Tranquill is a tough, instinctive football player with a high motor, but he does have some limitations. He's not the biggest guy and he possesses below-average speed. He will have to make his career but doing the little things and working his way into a rotational spot as a backup.

Perhaps I was too hasty in my judgement? I certainly hope so because I love our first two picks and reserve judgement on round 3.

No, I went slightly off tangent because I read about him tearing his ACL twice in another profile.

I like it. Half of the battle is adjusting to a life entirely focused on football as a career, and it sounds like he has the discipline and character to get it done.
