DZub must have made team due to ST? Lynn was worried about the loss of ekeler and AP on units.

I wouldn't trade Gordon for chump change. I think this move is intended to tell Melvin his agent is an idiot and NO ONE is going to pay him what he wants. I don't see a trade happening and I think Gordon will stupidly sit out. $10m a year is great money for his position and his skill level. He should take it. In fact it may be too much.
Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

Gordon really screwed his chances to get big money for a superbowl contender if he doesnt sign. He has value but for an injury prone back he just cant be relied on. Who knows maybe the offer is still on the table to sign and he says fine this week. TT isnt blinking at a guy under contract....play your deal or you are welcome to find a partner in a league that is valuing rbs less and less. TT isnt going to waste his own time searching...put the pressure on the agent to see if they really are serious about holding out.

i think Jackson has his chance now to steal the show...dagger for Gordon.

And Gordon will find out real quick if anyone values him as much as he thinks he is worth. If he doesnt get anyone willing to do a $10m+ avg contract he should sign. Ive got to think any teams interested would have had some numbers roughed out for what they could put together for Gordon. I just have a hard time thinking teams have cap space for him AND being a team he would want to go to.

Yep...imagine...MG3 comes swaggering back week 10, but JJ is tearing it up...Lynn gives Gordon a few snaps in garbage time because he doesn't want to "mess with the chemistry." Roughly similar to Lamp 2.0 all over again...

Dzub and Davis both play special teams. Can't discount those contributions I guess.

Yep...apparently the Bolts were scared of ST issues due to the loss of key players...as soon a some of the newbies step up or if we sign a decent FA LB who is also good at ST, I think Dzoobie becomes expendable...
