I can see why he wasn't drafted. The kids in that video look like they are high schoolers. The guy wasn't playing anyone even close to his own ability. Let's wait and see before we annoint the kid.

He might be a good candidate for the PS and then see what he really has next year.

And if I was this kid, I would try and find someone to tutor him on the ways of NFL OL, and keep working my butt off during the break after OTA's and before TC. Guys like him can make final rosters. He looks like he can play, provided he can develop some technique.

I still see no evidence suggesting a paycut may be coming. If anything, if Watt and Watts both excel in camp, probably means Clary won't be re-signed or extended. And if either one actually outplays Clary, Clary could conceivably be cut. But paycut? Not gonna happen.

I really like the way that Telesco hunts and scratches to find everything he can. Very much like what Buffalo did when Butler was in the front office. If this kid pans out, that is great. Really no downside to this kind of signing. The youtube looks promising, but if he is so good, why did he not get drafted or signed as a FA and have to go the walk-on try out approach? Can't all be because he played for a small school. Lots of small school guys get NFL contracts.

Like TT said when interviewed on 1090, the small school guys, you really have a hard time judging them unless you get a chance to see them play against someone good. VJ played at a small school, and didn't face any good opponents in school, but then went to the Senior Bowl, so you could see him there. West Texas A&M probably didn't play anyone good all year, and even if they did, did he go up against someone who has a draftable grade? If you don't have anything solid to go on in a deep draft year, I can't see teams making the call to take a guy like that.

Great you picked out one guy who didn't work out. What about Alex Boone? Turned him into a pro bowler caliber player. Geoff Schwartz? Bounced around the league before working with Bentley, had his best year and just got a multiyear contract. Shawn lauvao is another. Larry Warford another. Weston Richburg. This offseason he's working with Chance Warmack, Jonathan Cooper and Lane Johnson. But yah let's single out one guy.

Hey, I happen to like Bentley and felt he would have been a tremendous pro but for his tragic injuries so soon in his career. But he is not always right. Hope he is his in this instance and that both the Watt-Watts end up being all pros.
