Another thing I wont forget is that Tomlinson was running well that game and Marty inexplicably ran him a lot less in the second half. He got cute and started passing too much when he should have run it right down their throats.

I don't know why Schotty went out of the game plan.
        Was Tomlinson hurt?

No he was 100% healthy. I think Marty went away from it because of all the years criticism for being too conservative in the playoffs. Yet this was the year he could do it and tear it up.

They committed 3 turnovers in the 2nd half; that had something to do with Tomlinson not getting touches.

That was more Cam's fault IMO

whether we had 3 TOs or not they shoulda handed the ball off to LT. He was tearin up the NE D the first half...and inexplicably got something like 4 touches in the 2nd half? we werent playing huge catchup IIRC. we still coulda ran it down their throats. So it wasnt just the players being THE DUMBEST players but our coaches calling THE DUMBEST 2nd half.

I would definitely agree. Looking at the plays in the second half there were way too many passes and Lo Neal runs. I think Cam did try and get cute but Marty needed to pull him aside or tell him stop with the finesse and run Tomlinson.

When the mental health is not there, it's a little bit difficult.
Watching SD/MIA 82 is a better way to feel good.

Even that game is painful to watch. On one play Woodrow Lowe was beat badly by the tight end for a td, and the replay camera pans out to show a charger corner badly toasted on the same play. Benirschka misses a 20 yard field goal for the win in overtime - just dreadful. The difference is one or two plays. Louie Kelcher was amazing in that game.
