I guess the real issue is who cares if they start or not? starters are often part time players these days. Jarrett Johnson is technically a starter, yet he was never going to be more then a part time, run down guy.
positions that need to be focused on are whoever will be on the nickle D, since those are the players who actually play the most. So a situational rusher who just plays on the pass rush line is far more likely to get more playing time.
