Baker, Hill, and Fozzy will all be eligible for the PS.

I like how Gehlken says that today was Flukers best practice a few hours after Acee criticizes him.

The predicted roster seems fairly accurate. I think that Beltre may overtake Keisen for that last OLB spot.

I also like Josh Johnson to make the roster in place of Brandon Taylor who I think starts on the PUP list.

Vet OL Ohrnberger is probably going to get every opportunity in preseason to make the team ahead of guys like Troutman or Schilling, unless Acee is somehow implying here that Fluker is eventually moving to OG. If any of the starters get hurt at CB or along the DL, we are in serious trouble. We all know the backups are very weak at those positions (along with SS), but this projection makes it even more apparent...

Like i said it sounds personal with Fluker. Canepa made him sound like an idiot when he made a rare appearance recently. Mocking him for his remarks regarding Fluker. I cant say one way or another if Fluker ends up being on the starting unit to start his career. I think he probably does...but if it comes from the mouth of Acee im always taking it for whats it worth. And thats absolutely zero. I just cant allign myself with his thinking. Its why i dont get political news from Fox or CNN. Its just biased. No attack on Acee but i think its sort of his downfall and why so many people dont respect him.

Why do you assume that was Gehlken saying that?

And Acee didnt really criticize Fluker today.

All he said is he isnt top 5. Probabaly means he sees Dunlap and Starks as better bookends right now.

Its day one in pads but ok. Not sure the coaches even know after one day in pads. So i dont understand his comment that the coaches know they just wont admit it. Thought that came out of his ass. At least he realizes that hes a rookie and is still learning. Then went on to praise his work ethic.

Yes, Fluker's work ethic, motor & physicality are evident. Just scuffling while learning.

If he wasnt here Starks would be with the first team as well as Dunlap at the tackle position. Having a vet like Starks alows us to give Fluker more reps at RT with the first team. Those reps are much more valuable to Fluker than Starks...
                Go Rivers!

serious question: do we really need to carry 3 qbs? Clipboard Haysoos isn't going to be the answer anymore than Sorenson will be as a rookie if anything happens to Rivers.

Last I saw, Gatson couldn't defend a tree.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Trees are pretty tall. Gatson would have to jump pretty high to bat down a pass to a tree.

OIP those 6 WRs you picked are the best on paper but I can see us trying to trade one of them and sticking with a younger guy for Special Teams. Several teams could use a good WR and I think those 6 are all really good, but our team may be better off trading one of them. We will see how that plays out?
Possible trades with NE, Phily, NYJ, Buffalo, & SF.........
